Monarch Media is the culmination of more than 30 years of combined experience and 18 years of dedicated teamwork in publishing, marketing and sales. Cofounded in 2011 by Andrea Exter and Chellie Thompson, the professional collaboration unites results-driven revenue growth and integrated, tailored design for their clients' publications and projects.

Andrea Exter specializes in providing collaborative project management promoting each client's purpose by publishing print and digital magazines, newsletters and specialized publications that help them communicate with their members, readers and customers.
Andrea's 23-year foundation in writing, marketing, and design, along with her love for journalism, led her to focus on association media services. She provides Monarch Media's clients with expertise in publishing, editorial strategy, writing, editing, graphic design, magazine and publication production and management for both print and digital, as well as marketing, public relations and distribution strategy for all types of publications from a newsletter to a full-scale magazine.
Chellie Thompson specializes in building relationships through marketing and sales strategies that provide revenue to support communications, publications and events important to our clients -- professional associations, non-profits and small businesses.
Chellie brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising and tradeshow sales, sales management, sponsorship strategy and fundraising management, as well as development of strategic marketing plans. Her unique approach to sales generates not only revenue, but long-term relationships with businesses that support our association clientele through advertising and exhibiting. She is best known for her exceptional customer service resulting in happy clients, advertisers and exhibitors.
